FESCO / TruVolt Brands is looking for a Senior Financial Bookkeeper to work closely with one of its newest subsidiaries, Propeller Brands.  This skilled and detail-oriented Sr. Financial Bookkeeper will oversee, manage and account for the financial transactions associated with this exciting new company.  Propeller Brands 

This role is responsible for all day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, cash flow management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will bring a high level of accuracy, organization, and accountability to ensure smooth financial operations and reporting integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and ensure timely payment of vendor invoices.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and oversee customer collections.
  • Handle and respond to all operational communications related to financial activities.
  • Oversee and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity and timely disbursements.
  • Maintain ongoing lender communications to track and record cash receipts.
  • Prepare and distribute inventory reports for bank compliance.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports.
  • Close the books at month-end, ensuring all financial data is complete and reconciled.
  • Oversee and manage sales tax filings and compliance.
  • Conduct re-forecasting of financial projections based on current performance and market conditions.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with leadership.
  • Prepare and analyze yearly cash flow statements.
  • Coordinate and support bank audits by providing accurate financial records.
  • Facilitate annual financial reviews and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare and issue annual 1099 forms.
  • Coordinate and prepare information required for tax returns in collaboration with external tax professionals.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required).
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operations.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar platforms).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Experience in cash flow management and financial forecasting.
Please note that this is a fully on-site role in our headquarter office in Jersey City (Exchange Place), New Jersey.
