Social Media Manager - The FESCO Group

The FESCO Group (www.thefescogroup.com) is a leading international consumer electronics manufacturer, wholesaler and eCommerce business. We manufacture for and sell through 15+ licensed and well-known national brands like Perry Ellis, Epilady, Coby Audio, Car & Driver and ChargeWorx.

We are looking for a wildly creative, super-cool and highly effective Social Media Manager (marketing and advertising genius!)

The role of FESCO's social media manager is to create, schedule, publish, and measure the success of content on our social media channels, in addition to growing and nurturing online communities. 

Primary Responsibilities include:

• Design, build and maintain our social media presence
• Develop content for marketing and advertising consumer electronic products on various social media platforms
• Develop, implement and manage social media and marketing strategies for our consumer products
• Work extremely closely with on-line digital sales team and product brand managers
• Create and implement influencer strategies
• Staying up to date with the latest social media trends and platforms
• Creating, publishing, and sharing content across different platforms
• Building and maintaining a content calendar
• Tracking, measuring, and analyzing campaign results
• Cultivating, managing, and engaging with a brand’s online community
• Provides short- and long-term market forecasts and reports by directing market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data.
• Develops new approaches for market development, acquiring and analyzing data, and consulting with internal and external sources.
• Utilize the strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints
• Collaborate with PR agencies and other vendor partners
• Design Social Media strategies and content to drive consumer traffic to various points of sale (e-marketplaces, DTC sites, Brick-and-Mortar retailers etc...

Minimum Requirements:

• BA in Marketing or related degree
• 5+ years of working experience as a social media specialist / expert within a consumer products company is required.  Experience within consumer electronics a plus.
• This position is fully on-site, M-F, 9am-6pm (1 Rewe Street, Brooklyn NY, 11211)
